- Regatta Schedule is subject to change. Please contact the Regatta Chair with any specific questions (regatta@tempejuniorcrew.org).
- Be aware that due to various factors, planned regattas may change or be cancelled at the discretion of TJC OR they may be delayed/canceled by its organizers.
- Certain Regattas (E.g. San Diego Classic) are not open to all rowers, and participant selection is at the complete discretion of TJC Coaches.
- REGATTA REGISTRATION ISSUES & REFUND POLICY:
- Regattas registration and travel/hotel costs are seperate additional costs from your seasonal membership registration fee with TJC.
- For Regatta participation: First we ask for good faith early committment confirmation of your rower’s participation for the planned upcoming regatta schedule of the season.
- TJC then plans regatta rosters and entry options, and attempts regatta registration and lotteries based on this roster, for any given regatta.
- Costs are incurred on your behalf once you commit.
- Take this seriously.
- The onus is upon rowers and their family to ensure their schedules have no other conflict when confirming participation committments for a regatta, as well as when fully registering and paying for regattas by the deadlines TJC requires.
- Confirmed Regatta Participation and Payments: Once officially good to attend a regatta TJC’s Regatta Chair will cmmunicate that, and be asking for final confirmed regatta registration by rowers, and placing deadlines for payments for the regatta, as well as asking you to book any travel flights required on the specific team flight required for this.
- Be aware of an additional 10% late payment penalty invoiced to you, if regatta payments are not made by noted deadlines.
- Regatta fee reimbursement is eligible for refund up to 72 hours after payment is made and MINUS any deposits or payments already made by the team, on behalf of your rower due to any early participation committment you noted earlier .
- (This may include but is not limited to hotel, transportation, entry and equipment rental fees.
